Charlene is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (#4412). She is also a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Psychologists Association of Alberta, and Association for Play Therapy.
Charlene holds a Masters Degree from the University of Calgary in School and Applied Child Psychology and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours from the University of Victoria. She is trained in play therapy, theraplay, psycho-educational assessment, child-parent relationships, expressive therapies, and motivational interviewing and has experience with cognitive-behaviour therapy. Charlene also has training and experience in helping parents and caregivers build stronger attachments with their children. Charlene draws on her considerable experience to provide integrated services to children, teens, and adults in the areas of parenting, trauma, attachment, anxiety, depression, complex behaviour, and assessment.
Leona is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists (#3314) and a Registered Play Therapist. She is a member of the Canadian Psychological Association, the Psychologists Association of Alberta, and Association for Play Therapy.
Leona has a Masters Degree in Counselling from the University of Calgary, a graduate diploma in Education from McGill University, and a Bachelor of Arts, Honours Degree in Psychology from the University of Saskatchewan/ Bishops' University. Leona is trained in assessment and intervention and uses an integrated approach in her work in the areas of attachment, trauma, anxiety, depression, and complex behaviour.
Leona has worked for over 25 years at the Child Development Centre, and has a small private practice where she sees school age children and adults. She is part of the development of the Handle with Care program through the Hincks-Dellcrest Centre in Toronto, as well as a member of the steering committee for the Toronto Sick Children's Hospital Infant Mental Health Promotion.
Evie holds a Masters degree in Communicative Disorders from the University of Redlands. She is a member of Speech-Language and Audiology Canada (SAC) as well as the British Columbia Association of Speech/Language Pathologists and Audiologists (BCASLPA). Evie is also an LSVT-LOUD certified clinician.
With over ten years of experience working with both adults and children in educational and health-care settings as well as private practice, Evie brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for helping people communicate. Evie loves her work and takes pride in providing services that are both evidence-based and individualized to meet the needs of each client.
Debra is a Registered Psychologist with the College of Alberta Psychologists and a Registered Play Therapist
Andrea is a Certified Canadian Counsellor-Qualifying with Bachelor of Arts in Psychology (St. Francis Xavier University), Bachelor of Education (University of British Columbia), and a Masters of Arts in Counselling Psychology (Yorkville University). She is trained in emotionally focused couples therapy, and has worked in secondary education and in a university settings both as a teacher and counsellor.
Andrea is experienced in counselling adolescents and adults in individual and group based settings. Her counselling interests include, but are not limited to: life transitions, trauma, relationship issues, health and weight related concerns, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, and stress. Andrea takes an integrative approach to counselling by utilizing aspects of Emotionally Focused and Acceptance and Commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioural theory. She collaborates with her clients to facilitate growth and works toward achieving measurable results.
