Psychometrist

We are looking someone to work full or part-time with children and adults, who has a bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work, or a related field. In this position, you would be responsible for administering psychological assessment measures under the supervision of a psychologist.​

  • Attention to detail and good organisational skills;

  • Willing to be trained in administering psychological measures;

  • Ability to be professional with clients, staff, and other professionals;

  • Experience with a variety of software and hardware programs; 

  • Ability to work independently and complete tasks on time;

  • Experience in complex trauma and working with a wide age range of ages and with vulnerable populations.


This position is flexible and a benefits package is available. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Training and supervision will be provided.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in psychology, counselling, social work or related field;

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills;

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office; and

  • Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search.

  • Written and verbal French language fluency is an asset

Child Counsellor / Play Therapist

We are looking for a qualified mental health professional who specializes in working with children, teens, and their families to join our team as a child counsellor using play-based approaches.

  • Training and/or certification in play therapy (or interested in obtaining);

  • Familiar with using play-based, experiential interventions;

  • Sound experience and training in complex trauma;

  • Experience working with a wide age range of children and adolescents, and diverse, vulnerable populations; and

  • Familiar with and able to provide therapy for a wide range of issues.

This position is flexible and a benefits package is available. Compensation is commensurate with experience. Training and supervision towards certification as a play therapist can be provided.

Qualifications

  • Current certification or registration to practice as a psychologist, psychotherapist, counsellor, or social worker;

  • Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search;

  • Professional liability insurance;

  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills; and

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office.

  • Verbal and written French language fluency and/or EMDR training would be an asset.
