Who We Are


Charlene Bradford

Registered Psychologist

Registered Play Therapist Supervisor

Charlene is a psychologist, play therapist (supervisor), theraplay practitioner, and emdr child specialist. She enjoys working with children and their families in the areas of attachment, trauma, anxiety, attention, emotional regulation, and grief & loss.

Charlene also completes psychological assessments and complex diagnostic assessments for people of all ages.

Laura Orviss

Canadian Certified Counsellor 

Laura is a psychotherapist (qualifying), counsellor and an emdr trained clinician.  ​She brings her warmth, caring, and expertise into her work with children and families. She enjoys using play-based approaches with children to help in the areas of anxiety, trauma, grief & loss, attention, and self-esteem.   

Laura also works with teens and adults in the areas of grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and trauma. 


Jessica Knopf

Counsellor and Psychometrist

Jessica is a psychometrist and counsellor. As a psychometrist, she assists with the administration of psychological assessments with child, teens, and adults.  


Jessica works as a counsellor with teens and adults from a  person-centred perspective drawing from acceptance and commitment therapies. She is enthusiastic about working with individuals with topics including life transitions, anxiety, cultic groups, values, grief, and cultural identities.  

Amelia Austin

Counsellor and Administrative Assistant

Amelia is a counsellor currently in the last year of her PhD studies in Psychology. She enjoys working with children and teens in all areas of mental wellness but especially in the areas of attachment and trauma.


Amelia also specializes in eating disorders. She works part-time as a Research Fellow assisting eating disorder experts from Harvard Medical School and the University of North Carolina. Amelia is passionate about supporting teens and adults experiencing difficulties related to eating.
