We offer psychology, assessment, and counselling services in Whitehorse, Yukon.
Play therapy can help children to regulate, cope with their struggles, learn new strategies, and gain resilience.
Family Therapy & Parenting
Sometimes our relationships with others is not what we want or thought it would be. We offer services to support parent-child relationships, and families.
Adolescent & Adult
Psychotherapy for teens or adults focuses on trauma, stress, anxiety, healthy relationships, or depression. We have two EMDR trained therapists.
Psychological or psycho-educational assessments are available for children, adolescents, and adults who are struggling at home, school, or work.
We believe that on the pathway to positive health, we can be the start of a new journey, like a trailhead! We think that we can help you to find your markers of success and to stick to the trail that you want. You know yourself best - we just want to help you be that version of yourself - whether that be coping better with your anxiety, resolving your past trauma, having more patience or setting better limits with your children, improving your relationships, or understanding how you learn best at school or work.
Mental health should be integrated with all other aspects of our overall health - that's why we chose the name Trailhead Integrated Health. Our goal is to have therapists and practitioners that can help with many aspects of health and at many stages of life. It should be as easy to come and see us as it is to go and see your massage therapist. We believe that the stigma around mental health, just gets in the way, so we want to integrate mental health with health (after all, it's one part of what keeps us healthy). To this end, we see children, teens, adults, parents, and families and we can help with home, work, or general life struggles.
Our work at Trailhead Integrated Health involves First Nation communities across the Yukon. We are honoured to live, work, and play on the traditional territories of the Kwanlin Dün First Nation and Ta’an Kwäch’än Council. We acknowledge that our profession developed within a colonial context and participated in the harms of the residential school system. We are committed to meaningful reconciliation through learning, reflection, advocacy, and culturally safe practices.
When things are not going well at home, at school, at work, or in your family relationships, we might be able to help. We know it can be hard to ask, but please ask. Below are just some of the areas that we can help with. If you are unsure, again, please ask!

What's most important may not be what you do, but what you do after what you did
